What is permanent eyebrow makeup, and what results can I expect?
Permanent eyebrow makeup is a cosmetic procedure that deposits pigment into the skin to enhance brow shape, color, and definition. It can visually fill sparse areas, balance your brow design, and enhance your expression while reducing your reliance on daily makeup.
The finish is tailored to your features, skin, and preferences, from the soft shading of Powder Brows to the individual hair-stroke effect of Hair Strokes or Microblading. Although results are long-lasting, pigment can fade over time, and results evolve differently for each person.
Does permanent eyebrow makeup hurt?
The sensation varies from person to person. During treatment, you may feel mild discomfort, pressure, or a slight stinging sensation. An appropriate topical anesthetic may be used for comfort after an individual assessment and consideration of the necessary precautions.
Most discomfort is usually manageable, although a pain-free experience cannot be guaranteed. Tenderness, redness, or mild swelling may occur during the first few days after the procedure. Marilyn will explain what to expect and how to care for your brows as they heal.
How do brows change after the procedure?
The shade may change as your brows heal. You will receive personalized aftercare and follow-up instructions before treatment.
Is a touch-up always necessary?
No. A touch-up is recommended only when needed, depending on pigment retention and how the result develops.
